Pass It On: We Are His And He is Ours

Another song for my Pass it on Section. This song means a while lot to me, and so I want to share it. I have been oppressed by the devil for a couple weeks, and I knew my way out and I didn’t grab it. But have faith, because even though I was going through that, the Good news is that I have My God and Savior on my side. The verse in 1 John 4:4 goes “But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world” (New Living Translation). This is so very true, God is All Powerful, and the sooner we believe and learn this, the sooner we understand how great his love is.  And this song, after being oppressed for such a while, where I neglected my relationship with God and just stayed in my disobedience, the Lord who never leaves (which I am seriously thankful for) brought me back to his harbor of love. And Since God Picked me up from my horrible fall I heard this song on the radio and it just completely grabbed me. Its so true and so beautiful and it just makes you speechless. I was speechless, I could not help but to just just  stop and listened.

The song is called “You Alone” by Echoing Angels. They have great songs.

I’m desperately wanting to just find a way
I’m searching and seeking for someone to say
That it’s alright and it’s okay like I know You can
That it’s alright and it’s okay like I know You can

You alone are God
I am Yours and You’re mine
And I know the heavens will call out Your name if I don’t

I close my eyes and I drift away
To a place I remember, to a place I feel safe
Where it’s alright and it’s okay ’cause I’m there in Your arms
Where it’s alright and it’s okay ’cause I’m there in Your arms

You forgive me, You accept me just as I am
And You love me, and You want me to understand
I am Yours, You are mine
And I will worship You, yeah, worship You

And with all the heavens
I worship You alone ’cause You alone are God

Are You In Need? Sing A Psalms, Know Your Peace

So, I just finished Ephesians, and I am so glad I decided to read that after Pastor Will’s teaching. He pointed out so much. I already put up one of the chapters for that book, and I will put up the next. But I really decided that I need to read Psalms. The book of Psalms is great and have a lot of great teachings just like the other books, but I was just led to read this next. Although I don’t know who is reading my post, but I really hope that I have shared enough for you guys to know that no matter what you are going through, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. And even if you don’t have any other person to talk to or share with, you have Jesus. Jesus who died for us and came to show us the truth. Its not some fairy tale,  its the TRUTH. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is friends of sinners, he’s the greatest doctor out there. And the thing is, he doesn’t only heal physical illness, he heals everything. Broken hearts, weariness, everything. So sing a Psalms and get to build that relationship with God. This is not a religion, its a Relationship, remember that always.

Psalm 1

BOOK ONE (Psalms 1–41)
1 Oh, the joys of those who do not
follow the advice of the wicked,
or stand around with sinners,
or join in with mockers.
2 But they delight in the law of the LORD,
meditating on it day and night.
3 They are like trees planted along the riverbank,
bearing fruit each season.
Their leaves never wither,
and they prosper in all they do.

4 But not the wicked!
They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind.
5 They will be condemned at the time of judgment.
Sinners will have no place among the godly.
6 For the LORD watches over the path of the godly,
but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.

Oh Praise Him!–Pass It On

I turn to the David Crowder Band again, for my next Pass it On post. It is undoubtedly one of my favorite song and it is so fresh and just …I don’t know how to describe it. Its utterly beautiful and it fills you with such a great need to shout out and say Thank You Jesus. Thank you Father God! Its such a beautiful song. I pray that God will allow me to praise him every day, every time, no matter the hour, no matter how disobedient. God I pray that you shower my family, friends and I with your blessings father. The blessing of your presence and ignite a passion in us that is so fierce father. God please continue to reveal yourself to us, and help us to seek you with our all. Father god, Thank you, Amen.

Oh Praise Him by David Crowder Band

Turn your ear
To heaven and hear
The noise inside
The sound of angels’ awe
The sound of angels’ songs
And all this for a King
We could join and sing
All to Christ the King

How constant, how divine
This song of ours will rise
O, how constant, how divine
This love of ours will rise
Will rise

O praise Him
O praise him
He is Holy
He is Holy (yeah)

Turn your gaze
To heaven and raise
A joyous noise
The sound of salvation come
The sound of rescued ones
And all this for a King
Angels join to sing
All for Christ our King

Oh la, la, la, la, la, la

How infinite and sweet
This love so rescuing
O, how infinitely sweet
This great love that has redeemed
As one we sing

He is Holy
He is Holy (yeah)

Faith And Confession

It’s 6:46 AM and I decided that instead of falling back into bed and catching upon my sleep, I will go to the page of my bible. I thank God that he gave me the strength to go and opened up the pages, because I really needed to read his words. I have neglected my bible for about two weeks now, and that was not cool. When you admit that you need Jesus, you really come to see just how vital his words are for your hungry heart and soul. So, I thank God that he gives me the strength when I call.  Here is what I just read.

Romans 10

1 Dear brothers and sisters,* the longing of my heart and my prayer to God is for the people of Israel to be saved.2 I know what enthusiasm they have for God, but it is misdirected zeal.3 For they don’t understand God’s way of making people right with himself. Refusing to accept God’s way, they cling to their own way of getting right with God by trying to keep the law.4 For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given.* As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God.

5 For Moses writes that the law’s way of making a person right with God requires obedience to all of its commands.*6 But faith’s way of getting right with God says, “Don’t say in your heart, ‘Who will go up to heaven?’ (to bring Christ down to earth).7 And don’t say, ‘Who will go down to the place of the dead?’ (to bring Christ back to life again).”8 In fact, it says,

“The message is very close at hand;
it is on your lips and in your heart.”*

And that message is the very message about faith that we preach:9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.11 As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”*12 Jew and Gentile* are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him.13 For “Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.”*
14 But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?15 And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”*
16 But not everyone welcomes the Good News, for Isaiah the prophet said, “LORD, who has believed our message?”*17 So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.18 But I ask, have the people of Israel actually heard the message? Yes, they have:

“The message has gone throughout the earth,
and the words to all the world.”*

19 But I ask, did the people of Israel really understand? Yes, they did, for even in the time of Moses, God said,

“I will rouse your jealousy through people who are not even a nation.
I will provoke your anger through the foolish Gentiles.”*

20 And later Isaiah spoke boldly for God, saying,

“I was found by people who were not looking for me.
I showed myself to those who were not asking for me.”*

21 But regarding Israel, God said,

“All day long I opened my arms to them,
but they were disobedient and rebellious.”*

This past Sunday was very important for me. I have let the spirit of Jesus who I have accepted in my soul become dormant, and Sunday I had to ask god to stir up my passion. Romans 10 was a Chapter in the bible that my pastor spoke about, and so it was what I wanted to read this morning. I don’t know exactly why this scripture yet, but I do believe that it was for me this morning. So I will dwell on it and go back on it.  It is definitely important because it tells us that “Everyone who calls on the Lord will be saved” and I think that means not just for your salvation, but in any situation. I have failed to call o Jesus for help when I most needed, because I was battling with my own strength and that was a huge mistake. I ended up giving in. I should have cryed out, and willingly handed over my case. But I thank God for taking me back—imperfection and all. Thank you Father.
